So hard to choose! They're all great. I like Cars a great deal, to the point of making it my first ever iTunes store movie purchase. I have to admit I missed Ratatouille and I've heard a lot of great things about it. That'll be my second ITS purchase.

That is quite a list. I have to say 'Finding Nemo' since this was the first film I watched with my daughters.

i like them all but the incredibles would be my fave. :rolleyes:

Although I like all of them, "The Incredibles" is definitely my all time favorite because it's a great movie that anyone can love and appreciate the meaning of family values.

same thoughts here. i've seen all 8 (we have all the dvd titles, except for ratatouille of course) , but nothing beats Nemo (i think most fathers here will agree :)) . a close 2nd would be cars.

I also voted for Finding Nemo. But it is indeed hard to choose they were all great. Ratatouille comes in a close second, I really, really enjoyed it! And Elbert's post also reminds me how much I loved Cars. Those three films are the best of the bunch I think.

Definitely The Incredibles for me

My vote goes to The Incredibles. I can watch this film a thousand times over and I will still find it funny each time hehe.

Some of the movies, I've seen, and some, not yet. I loved the Monsters, Inc. I don't know why, I just did. Finding Nemo is also nice, and it shows how a parent loves his/her child/children, through these cartoon characters. But my favorite of all is indeed, The Incredibles! Yeah! This is a very cool (as in cool!) movie! A family of superheroes with different powers, and cool villains, too. And its not just a cartoon to entertain the audience (specifically the young ones), but this, too, shows family values which I find very valuable in modern time films. In fact, I'm so amazed with the storyline (as well as its graphics, etc.), I repeated this movie several times over. I rate this 5 stars and 2 thumbs up! ;)

It just felt right. Great story, Great premise, wasn't too long, Heartwarming without being cheesy, great voice talents and possibly has one of the best endings ever.

i wasn't able to watch cars and Ratatouille... i did vote for nemo.. next for me is monsters, Inc.... i based it on the most number of times that i watched it... hehehe...

for me finding nemo. The animation is so good. they were able to animate the underwater scene lifelike/soft and with a good feel of being submerged -galing. And i just looove Dory the blue fish (VO by ellen degeneres) Humor and story is great.

Ha ha, Nemo and fathers, that's true. But I like the father in Mr. Incredibles better! And thus I voted for that movie - loved that final scene when the youngest child turned into a monster!

Speaking of Pixar, how about ranking the shorts as well? I vote for The Jack-Jack Attack.

It's so hard to choose. Depends on what the disney/pixar movie of the week is screening (again and again) at home. My top choices would be Cars, The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc., currently in that order. hehe Rata is also a favorite too.

But Bugs Life would probably be consistently at the bottom of the list for me. I like it but not as much as the others

All of them are great films, but my pick would have to be Finding Nemo. It would've been easier if we can rank those 8 from top to bottom, here would be my list:

It was a close call between Finding Nemo and The Incredibles, but the former wins for me because of the storyline.

My favorite is Finding Nemo because I love the character of Dory (fish w/ a short-term memory loss) because she was so funny. :D Among the list, Finding Nemo is the only one I watched for several times and I never get tired of it.

It's A Bug's Life for me, along with Finding Nemo and Monsters, Inc. I also missed Ratatouille. Saw Toy Story 1 and I thought that the story, like all those in the list, is heartwarming (missed Toy Story2). Incredibles, I think, is more an animated film for older children and adults.

*Sigh* If i ever wanted to go corporate, working at Pixar would be my dream job. All their employees fromt he janitor up are encouraged to talke a film class and make a short film. But that's just a bonus to the fantastic creative environment they have there.

Close second would be to become a Disney Imagineer!

That said, Monsters Inc. is first among equals for this Pixar fan boy. Although Toy Story just has so much heart and started this whole newfangled computer movie fad thingamagig.

I voted for Toy Story as it was the first-ever Disney Pixar film. It really made me look forward to the succeeding films. Haven't seen Ratatouille.

Slightly OT: My favorite full-length Disney animation is Snow White. It's the first Disney movie I ever watched when it was re-released in the late 70's or early 80's. Like Toy Story, it's also the first full-length animation from Disney (if I'm not mistaken).

Being the comic-geek that I am, Incredibles has my vote for top of the Pixar heap.

Monsters Inc. is my second. Billy Crystal and John Goodman had EXCELLENT rapport and timing together, and Boo IS THE CUTEST!!!!!

I love watching Pixar movies since they are really story-driven. While technically excellent, Pixar uses 3d to support the storyline unlike the CG Hollywood copycats (remember Antz?). I usually find myself overlooking the fact that I'm watching a CG Pixar movie because the storylines are totally engrossing.

They're all great! I love em all. But I voted for The Incredibles just because I like the animation style of Brad Bird... and Edna Mode really cracked up my whole family!

The DVD set includes special deleted scenes and original storyline that didn't make it to the final version. Plus some inside info on the other supers mentioned in the film! Galing!

Yes! It's analog technology! That makes it really special because the only way to watch the movie again is to rewind it ;-)

Ratatouille is BY FAR the best movie in the Pixar canon. To say that it's the best animated feature of our generation is still an understatement. It is a great movie. A new classic (hey that's an oxymoron for you hahaha)...

The quality of Ratatouille's animation can be compared without embarrassment to modern paintings or visual art compositions. The texture and the colors of Paris juxtaposed with the vivid outlines of the furs of the rats--combine these with excellent camera movements that follow the world of a rat adjacent to the oh-so-romantic alleys and lights of Paris--these unlikely combinations are beautifully illustrated that the audience is easily enchanted--transported into the lovely world of Remy and Linguini: the little rat chef and the simple young man who just wanted to get by after losing his mother.

The plot is solid, mixing a dash of vintage Disney archetypical hero in Remy (who reminds us of other Disney heroes who just think of themselves as different, who want to go out there, somewhere else where they will be more understood and where they are meant for greater things) and the Pixar's archetypal hero in Linguini, whose real heroism is found lingering among his inner values and natural kindness. But more than this, watching Ratatouille feels like reading a favorite bedtime story for people across all ages.

What really amazes me the most is the story's utter simplicity which exceptionally utilizes and combines realism and fantasy in the lovely world of Remy and Linguini.

The dialogue is extremely witty, the humor is not forced and most of the times delivered with taste.

Ratatouille is a topnotch achievement--the chef d'oeuvres amidst a world of hamburgers and fries.

I would say that Toy Story is the best for me. Buzz lightyear and woody? C'mon you gotta love 'em. :)

I am a big fan of a bug's life coz the story has a lot of lessons to learn.. but if ur looking for an animation that will make u laugh nonstop, its Monster's Inc. for me..Boo was very funny and very cute in that film. Imagination of Pixar's creators was awesome!!!:D

Ditto macbeth. Ratatouille would rise above the rest as a 'filmic' classic, and not just a family oriented ditty. But of course, as any Pixar fan, I love all the films Pixar ever released.

It's just that with Ratatouille, production-wise and story-wise, I just thought they've raised the bar so high that it's so tough to top it themselves.

Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, and Cars are my picks. Impossible to choose just one.

For me it's Toy Story and Cars! I like the stories of both movies and the imaginations they used. Cars has really good sound effects and soundtrack.

From the list, the best movie for me is Ratatouille.

But I've seen the teaser/trailer of WALL-E, and its quite intriguing.

oh, i already voted for Nemo last year, it still is my favorite pixar movie.

That sure is a tough question, because all of them are great. :) But I'm partial toward the Brad Bird films, so...I'll go for The Incredibles...the screenplay just floors me every time I watch it.

I've noticed there's really not much love for Cars in general, but I've cried twice or thrice watching it...and I also have a soft spot for the movie, if only for the Michael Schumacher cameo.

I watched Beauty and the Beast no less than SEVEN times... in the cinema! Couldn't seem to get tired of it. Friends and I could talk along with the dialogue by the last few times.

it'll be interesting how movie goers will react to wall-e. read somewhere (TIME i think) that the movie doesn't have any dialogue? that'll be like pixar's short films where graphics & sound effects took over (effectively!). having said that, i'm one of those eagerly awaiting wall-e :)

I voted for the Incredibles because it's the movie from the list that made me laugh the most. All of them are great even the pixar shorts are witty and fun.

Hand down, Finding Nemo :)

By far, the best Pixar story for me is Toy Story. It set the new standard for animation. And the storytelling was phenomenal. Every single frame moved the story forward. I invite you all to watch it again and see just how complete of an experience it is. You can get the 10th anniversary edition on DVD now.
Ratatouille comes in second for me for sentimental reasons.
I have a feeling that Wall-E will blow all the previous Pixar stories out of the water though. I have high hopes for this one.

Hm, I'd say it's a tie between Wall-e and Monsters, Inc. I didn't think I'd like Wall-e, let alone love it, when I first saw its trailer. But...what can I say, the guys at Pixar sure know how to tell a great story (supported by a great soundtrack). As for Monsters, Inc, I guess I liked the way Pixar played around with the whole monster-in-the-closet concept. Oh, and Boo was so cute too. Haha.

There's a new Disney animation coming entitled "Ponyo"... the logo and poster seems familiar... lol. and its unique because its a collab with japanese director / animator Hayao Miyazaki. The great mind behind "Spirited Away". Worth waiting for.

I love Toy Story because I'm familiar with most of the toys featured in the movie. These are the toys I played with during my younger years; a walk down memory lane.

I'm torned between Finding Nemo and Toy Story 3...

Of the Pixar-Disney films, it's "Up" and "The Incredibles."

For the Disney films, "Meet the Robinsons" is a classic.

For me, its Toy Story! It's one of the most memorable movies of my childhood. To infinity.... and beyond!!!

it's really hard to pick since all the movies on the list are great.. but i have to choose finding nemo. it never fails to make me laugh, cry, and say "awww" everytime i see the father and son clownfish, and dory, the lovable forgetful friend :)

I would probably go with Toy Story 3 (which is not on the list above)... or maybe CARS

All the movies on the poll are great films but I have to pick toy story why because you have alot of great actors from Tom Hanks and Tim Allen .

Of the 8 listed above, Finding Nemo.

Of all Pixar movies to date, my favorite would be Up. It has the best intro feature too (the story about the clouds).

I like up as well..:) it was really cute..I chose monsters inc. cause I just loved the story..especially the happy ending..not to mention Monsters inc. was the first CGI movie to use that much hair on sully..Think it took them 1-2 hours for each person to make each piece of hair..so yeah..Imagine that..:D

Finding Nemo is my favorite. Maybe because I really like underwater nature shows.

Can't wait for Despicable Me..Reviews are really good..I believe it'll be showing Sept 3 or something right?

what, WALL-E not in the list? My little daughter watched it a ---th time already and she still cant get enough of it :D

Toy Story Trilogy is my favorite...

I updated the list to add Wall-e and Up. Since Toy Story 2 had the least number of votes, I replaced it with the latest Toy Story 3. 10 titles lang kasi limit ng Polls.

I voted for Toy Story 3, it's the winner in all aspects- story line, action, drama, music, animation 3-D! It's the first animation too that has crossed the $1B mark.

Hands down finding nemo. The movie made me laugh so hard especially Dory's lines.
