When it comes to guitar gear I always think that a balanced investment is the best way to get the most out of your money, especially if you have an electric guitar setup. IMHO, if you had 100K to spend on guitar equipment, I would spend 40K on the guitar, 40K on the amplifier and 20K on good cords, pedal effects, and extra sets of strings. It's not wise to splurge on a killer guitar and then scrimp on the other equipment you need.

If you've heard of Aya Yuson you might be interested to know that he spent 5K on the body of his guitar (archtop, crafted locally) and around 8K more for the pickups and the electronics of his guitar, 5K for his guitar case, and 5K for his fender tube amplifier (lucky guy was able to buy it in a GARAGE sale somewhere in one of those villages in the Ortigas area :dry: )

Haha, oo nga noh. Parang SRV Strat yung color.

Nice one Adel! It just occurred to me that the gold hardware gives it a "special edition" quality. Like something they'd come up with for an anniversary edition. :D
