Anybody knows where to buy 3rd party USB-C to USB-C cable? It's the same type of cable that comes with the 12" Mac. Had to ask my sis to buy me a J5Create (brand) cable but it's gonna take some time to get here. I need one urgently. The 2m cable that comes with the Mac is too long. Even my trusted go-to store for cables in Greenhills (Abacus) don't have this yet

i believe i saw some among the stalls in GH but not the stores...

PMC had a USB-C to USB-C the last time i looked (when i got a USB-C to USB cable) but these things get snapped up so fast...

^ Thanks for the tip. Did you happen to notice if the one sold on stalls were of good/branded quality? I'm did try to find some the last time I was in GH but I didn't look at the stalls since they often sell these things with "questionable" quality. Was the one from PMC the original Apple USB-C cable?

My j5create USB-C cable just arrived and it looks okay enough. It's a little thicker than the original Apple USB-C cable but the shorter length ought to help me a lot

Careful with generic USB-C cables - might fry your electronics.

Depends on the source in Greenhills. There are good stores in Virra Mall. The USB-C cables that I bought in V-Mall are working quite well for the past year.

Has anybody heard of the brand hoco? I saw a useful 3-in-1 cable (micro usb, lightning, type-c) cable. It's being sold by digibabes for 395 pesos. I could really use that cable but this articles about usb-c frying devices is holding me back. Any comments? thanks
