I'm looking for one but it seems the best place to find them right now is Newegg Philippines. Any recommendations?

Medyo kulang sa choices and a good number of them are overpriced. Ended up doing Newegg. I hope we had more good choices locally.

Mm..local prices specially from PC Hub and Questlogic via TPC are consistent with US retail and a big plus for high-value items such as a monitor (large and spec'd) is WARRANTY support (RMA). What happens if your Newegg item goes kaput? You need to send it back to Newegg? ;)

I'd probably go Newegg for items that are not locally available.

Mm..open newegg philippines. I think they can ship to here. Questions: is it door-to-door or dadaan muna sa customs? Are duties and taxes inclusive in the prices that are quoted? I've been looking at computer components that I need. Not much price difference with local. Example: samsung evo m.2 na ssd. Mas mababa pa ng konti si Questlogic sa Pque. Another: Thermaltake rgb cpu water cooling with 360 radiator...lol! Returnable to States pero subject to restocking fee. That's b.s.

Newegg orders are from the US. Just had a monitor delivered. After all additional costs it's cheaper, but you should note that the warranty probably won't be honored by PH.

Got one of the LG 4K monitors: https://www.newegg.com/global/ph/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824025512

Don't confuse it with the Ultrasharp that they collaborated on with Apple. It looks similar though. Haha.

Delivery time is around 3 days and they're transparent about the costs, delivery time, etc.

How much were you charged for taxes? Did you pay anything extra when it was delivered to you?

It's like Amazon. They will let you know all expenses before you pay. :) I'd sample it myself by going through the checkout if I were you.

Erratum (though off-topic): The monitor LG made with Apple's collaboration is "UltraFine." It is not "UltraSharp." :D

I've been trying to get my hands on one of those. It sucks that none of the authorized resellers are selling it.

If you don't mind not having the warranty in PH, you can buy it from Apple HK or Apple Singapore. Not sure if you might have to place the order online though and then just pick it up.

Just be aware that they are very expensive monitors. The smaller one is a bit more than 1000sgd while the larger one is almost 2000sgd.
