any advise on what model to use.
HP All-In-One printers are no-brainers with Macs and iOS devices. Inexpensive, user friendly and kinda reliable for small-volume runs. Best if you can get one with the CISS so you never run out of ink by surprise.
I second! HP all in one printers for me. Both in the office and at home. But I use the Ink Advantage series (more affordable cartridges).
We have the HP AIO Deskjet 2545.. has wifi or direct print function.. for Mac & Mobile gadgets too.. for school and light office workload..
At the office, our Kyocera FS1035 photocopier doubles as our monochrome laser printer, especially since cost per page is lower than typical monochrome laser printer costs. For color printing, we have a Fuji Xerox DocuPrint C2200 color laser printer.
At home, I have a Fuji Xerox DocuPrint CM205fw color LED multifunction printer (similar to laser) for copy, print and scan use.
For photo printing, we have a Canon ip7200 inkjet. My wife also brought home from her recent study stint abroad an Epson XP-620 multifunction printer.
Same here, currently using an HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2060, both at home and at work. At home, we're planning to upgrade to one that has wifi, so that all of us can connect wirelessly, since there are multiple users. Any recommendations on a model? I'm also happy with the cost of the ink cartridges. Not that expensive, and supply at stores is almost always good, unlike others, you'd have to look around to get one.
Brother All-in-one Printer/Scanner works well for me.
Just got myself an HP DeskJet 4535 (my first ever WiFi all-in-one printer) and it works wonders for me. So liberating to have no wires connected. Super babaw ko, I can also print via email from outside the house. Haha.
@docjbr i used to connect my HP printer to an airport express. It enables wireless printing. Never tried scanning at home though. Am currently using an AirPrint capable Brother all in one printer now.
Brother dcp-j105. Can wirelessly print using my iMac and iOS devices.
Have you experienced leaving the tri color ink cartridge and replacing the black cartridge only?
I agree with the HP printers. I had an all in one that lasted 9 years. Now I currently have a Brother MFC J200 All in one. It's Wi-Fi and has Air Print. Has two way scanners, flat bed and the top paper feed can quickly scan several pages.
Those using Brother, how much are the cartridges, and do they last long (I know it depends on use, but I print about 20-25 pages per day
I have the HP 3630. It's the cheapest all-in-one wireless rpinter available in the market. I also have the Canon Selphy CP910 for printing photos.
Brother J200 user here too. So far so good for the past 2 years.
for brother owners, how often you perform maintenance. do you use the printer everyday?
^I dont. There is a maintenance feature in the machine - to prevent clogging. You can do this once a month if you do not use your printer regularly. And just keep the printer plugged in.
We have an HP Officejet 6830, works fine but the scanner is noisy. It has ADF though which I like. I miss our Brother AIO printer (home printer in the Phils)
any experience with canon paired to mac?
