Hi Guys, seems migrating data from old to new is a bit harder than i thought

    I tried the ff:

Import all pictures/videos to a folder in my desktop then synch photos through itunes
Problem: I can't delete the photos synced unless through itunes

Backup old iphone profile in itunes and restore to new phone
Problem: it did not copy all data from phone

I wanted to transfer all photos/video from old iPhone to new iPhone but still able to delete photos manually on new iPhone in case in the future I want to delete some of them

Use dropbox. Or you can just use whatsapp.

Here is my way to transfer photos from iPhone to iPhone:
Tap on "Settings" on your iPhone. Select "iCloud" and enter "Photos" to ensure "My Photos Stream" is on.Follow the operation above on your iPad. But remember, you should log in the same Apple ID on both devices.Turn on "Photos" on the iPad, and select "Albums" and "My Photo Stream". You will find all images recently captured on your iPhone appear on the iPad. Choose the photo you want to save to iPad. Tap on the share button in the lower-left corner and then select "Save Image" and it is done.
    Hope helps!

But one thing should be kept in mind is that Photo Stream can only save 1000 pictures in recent 30 days at most.

itunes backup and restore should do the trick, but you also have to authorize the computer for all the apple id that apps was used to purchase the apps in the iphone.

Would you want to transfer data from an iPhone to another? You can use iTunes to backup your iPhone data at first and then, restore them when you connect another iPhone iTunes, but you need to select“Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically” lest your data would be erased.

I think iCloud could also work for it as well as iPhone Transfer to transfer photos from iPhone to iPhone.

Hi Guys! I don't know if this is the right thread to post this but....
Albums appeared in my Ipad's Photos App with dates as photo album title. I'm unable to delete them and they've cluttered my Ipad's photo albums. Any one know of a work around?

To transfer all photos/video from old iPhone to new iPhone but still able to delete photos manually on new iPhone, you can try mobile transfer program. With it, you can directly transfer any files from one phone to the other.

Sometimes doing this through Dropbox, iCloud and other online storage solutions are just too quirky or cumbersome.

Snearkernet is still the simplest solution in most cases – try Sandisk's iXpand Flash Drive.
