I just started Riverdale, Santa Clarita Diet, and This is Us. I find the first two highly interesting, while This is Us is making me cry all the time. hahahaha.

Just when you thought you had everything figured out, boom. :) I'm glad ABC has greenlighted the extension of the series from the original 13 to 22.

Binged watch and finished it. It is not as amazing as I have thought (story is predictable), but not as bad as most reviews online now.

Oh, OK. I skimmed through Google and saw headline after headline of bad reviews. Glad it's not as bad as Luke Cage. :p

My TV review plate was empty so I tried APB. Aside from getting a distinctly Iron Man vibe mixed with Robocop (which is basically Iron Man in a police force. Hahaha), it was pretty enjoyable. It wasn't too techy and even though the tech was great and somewhat grounded in reality, the police force showed tech billionaire Gideon that sometimes the man on the ground can best any technology he can dish out. Nice even if indirect references to Superman (you could have come up with any surname, but Reeves is most likely an homage to Christopher Reeves), Robocop (officer Murphy) with some Ghostbusters thrown in (Ernie Hudson was part of the original, well, really the only, Ghostbusters team).

Just got around to binge watch 24:Legacy and it's very good. I admit to not having watched ANY of the Kiefer Sutherland 24 series (a sacrilege for some, but hey I haven't watched GoT either so... :p ) so I had no prior knowledge of what had come before, but it really felt realtime (and it did suck up roughly 12 hours of my real life). Maybe I'll go and check the previous Jack Bauer series (but not go binge watching, I would probably go missing for several....days? LOL).

Nobody's watching TV series these days eh? LOL

Tried TAKEN next since that series just ended. I thought it was good even though it didn't exactly make any concrete connection between the TV series and the movie series with Liam Neeson. In fact, if you called it by another title and renamed the lead character (whom I thought looked a little like a rough Steve Carrell Hahaha) anything other than Brian Mills, then it'd be viewed differently other than trying to portray the young agent before his time in the movies. Because, the timing isn't right (Mills would have had to be the TV series Mills age in the early 80s) and this Mills already has most of the skill set which I thought was the original premise of the series. Where and how did he learn the "particular set of skills" so vaunted in the movie series? Still, if you forget the supposed connection with the movie and just enjoy the series as it stands, it all makes up for a rather nice (although short, I hope it's renewed) series.

Been thinking about that too... looks like no one is watching tv! lol (posted on another thread re American Gods and Handmaid's Tale).

The guy playing Brian Mills is none other than Rollo of Vikings Fame!
