When we had Converged installed last June, only a few slot left from the corner post.
YES. Still waiting for PLDT Fibr to reach our block. Want to upgrade our DSL to Fibr
good 11 days old.
My apps on my ios devices won't update on FIBR but updates via LTE. I checked my FIBR connection, and everything is fine. It just won't download updates and new apps using Fibr.
try changing your DNS to google dns 126.96.36.199 and 188.8.131.52, PLDT's DNS is not reliable.
It is on that dns.
That's weird. PLDT is experiencing network problem since yesterday so, there's that.
Experienced the outage earlier this morning. Even if you change to other DNS, any site would not load.
Since a blackout/brownout hit Makati more than a week ago, I've been experiencing on some websites the webpage shown below:
It doesn't happen to all websites, just some. Complained to PLDT's CS group a couple days back. They said they would look into it. No feedback so far.
Anyone else having the same problem? Or had the problem but was able to solve it?
It seems to be a nationwide problem. I'm having problems downloading from the app store. But works on Smart LTE.
Thanks for the quick update, @Juice! Nice to know that it's not just me. Yup, also also using my Globe LTE Mobile device to access those sites. Will follow up with PLDT on Monday.
So I got home from work with Roku powered TVolution from PLDT waiting for me. My pops said that The guy who delivered it said I won it. I dont remember joining but it's possible that PLDT drew from current subscribers. So I looked at the PLDT website for more information and found out that the device was recently launched and is available for subscribers as add on with fees and subscription.
So Im posting it here in case it becomes a "pldt fibr woe" when I see myself being charged for this device when the next bill comes.
that TVolution is not free. at 199/month your like renting a box with no subscription.
That's what I saw in the website. But I did not order this so I may return this when I see im charged in the next bill. Parang Im forced to their scheme.
The CSR called us about the Roku. She said we're eligible for it and no cash out. She did mention that a P199/mo for the Roku will appear on our next bill, and that a new lock-in period of 36 months will take effect.
I declined their offer because I looked into it and I found out that it was an old model of the Roku and that it was locked to the apps that it came with it. You can't install other apps on it.
You should ask the people in your home if they spoke with the CSR. Maybe the CSR mentioned and emphasized that you don't need to pay for it when it gets delivered so they said yes to PLDT's offer.
^good thing I did not open it. I'll definitely call CSR tomorrow. Thanks for the information
Hmm, PLDT have not yet raffle their products (as far as I know) to subscribers specially this equipment since it is a customized PLDT firmware.
Was the delivery guy a PLDT employee?
If you have time, it might be better to go to their sales & service centers (business offices) to further check this with your account details.
