I set the Getflix DNS on my router.
I'm not really sure mam....it's just the Mi device Globe is offering right now
Pricing for the Apple TV 4K. Will definitely get one.
no changes on the Apple TV remote right?
Yup. The only difference is this will support 4K and HDR streaming. There was also no mention of additional language support which means that Siri will be useless unless your maintaining a US account.
Will get the new 4K Apple TV as well. I got sold the moment they said your existing HD iTunes library will be automatically upgraded to 4K... as well as pricing 4K content the same as 1080p HD. Now I just have to get myself a 4K TV and 4K receiver
Make sure it has HDR to take advantage of the HDR content in both Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Would just like to share this site https://happywatching.com/ for those who are thinking of getting HD movies on iTunes on the cheap. I just bought two codes (GoT S1 and Mockingjay Part 2) for $11.50 and I received the codes right away. Can't believe I never heard of the site until today!
Imma gonna say, "too late da hero bro"...all da rest gonna say been there done that...
I think I can skip this upgrade, thank you very much.
I'm not sure how this really works. Can you explain? Would this also work on movies/shows that I'd like to watch on Apple TV?
Apologies for this question. With a 4k TV, will there be a difference between streaming Netflix from the latest Apple TV with that of direct streaming from the TV Netflix app? Putting it another way, is the Netflix being streamed from the app of the 4k TV not yet really 4K? Thanks in advance
The Netflix app in your TV already allows 4K and HDR streaming. You just need a premium subscription and a steady internet speed of 20-25 mbps. If you're using a Samsung TV, just go to the Info tab,it will show you the screen resolution ( 1080, 2160 etc.) of the content you're watching. If you're using LG, If I'm not mistaken it will automatically show the resolution. Some apps on the TV however are not 4K, The native Youtube on Samsung TVs still does not support 4K streaming, You have to use the built in browser and go to the Youtube site and view 4K content.
I am now on the look out to those who will be upgrading to Apple TV 4K. I don't have a 4K TV just yet so an Apple TV 4 will do.
Any advice on what to check for a second hand Apple TV?
Yeah. Do keep in mind that I have a US iTunes account so I'm not sure if those codes would work with other iTunes regions.
When I put the DNS on the router, it slows down downloads on iTunes and other file downloads like Xbox games and updates.
I just what-the-heck-lets-try-it and it is indeed very simple. "Buy" the movie on the webpage, you will be given a redemption code, use the code to redeem the movie just like you would redeem an iTunes GC. Awesome!
I initially tried it on my PH iTunes acct... didn't work. So I guess this only works for US accts. Still.
4K versions are now live on iTunes. Do you need the Apple TV 4k before you can download them?
Yap, same question for me.
While 4K is displayed, there is no option for the format to download. And in the info portion, the file size info is only up to 1080p version only.
BTW, ₱600 for Wonder Woman in 4K format is a steal!
