Hi guys! Has anyone tried shipping their iMac to another country via courier like DHL, Fedex etc.?
Would that be safe? I'm migrating to Australia soon and i know they are kinda strict about used items (biosecurity clearance). Is it better to sell it here and just buy a unit there?
Thanks a lot! It's 27 inch by the way, late 2012 model :)

I haven't tried, but apple.com ships out using DHL. So I guess DHL will be the best bet. I do hope you have kept the box! :)

I do however suggest that you TRY to sell it here, if you can. Since the shipping cost might be too high. (1800php for a gopro camera only to SG) Also, the new iMacs might be tempting :)

Where in Australia are you moving to? You can to to find an alisbayan service... don't do air freight. It'll be expensive.
