My S8+'s camera is 9/10 for me. I never have to bring my dslr or p&s for my travel needs. My blackeye clip on lens adds more creativity. :)

    Guys,
Has anyone here having a Red tint issue on their S8 or S8+?
If you do can we have it replaced?
I Watched a YouTuber name Erica Griffin ..on her S8 & S8+ review she did mention that she was able to replaced her S8+ a couple of times because her phone has a Red tint issue.
She also mentioned that the software update to fix that issue does not work.
I personally no issue on my Phone thank goodness.

My iris unlock has 50% success rate. Even 0% when I'm outdoors. It's frustrating. Is it the same with you guys?
Fingerprint scanner is cumbersome to use because of its placement. I can only count the times I used it.
I hope iPhone 8 will not follow this route which will have edge to edge based on rumors.

I'm used to using the iris scanner it works about 90% indoors..but when i get outside i switch to face scan.
I never uses the finger print scanner as it too awkward for my preference but i make sure i have my print registered for extra security.

i actually use the fingerprint scanner 90% of the time. at first it takes some getting used to but overall still the fastest and most efficient way to secure and unlock your phone. haven't tried the iris scanner, used the face recognition and gave up after 1 day.

Using a case with separate opening for the fingerprint scanner helps a lot. The phone recognizes my fingerprint most of the time since I started using alcantara case. Bonus - no smudges on the camera. :)

ohh.. that's sad. I'm using auxiliary for the mean time but the sound quality is awful. It's muddy and I have to turn the volume to the max to get a decent loudness.

went to SM Megamall Samsung store. Unfortunately no stocks of the S8+ screen protectors.
Spigen cases are cheaper in Lazada vs Spigen Kiosks
Spigen screen protector (just one pc) cost more than 1k, unlike Samsung whose s7edge and note 8 protectors came in 2s

ended up with X-Doria Defense case and protector available both at the Samsung store and X-Doria kiosk (near Sony)
screen protector used a wet application method similar to car tint.
hopefully both will serve my S8+ well

Received my S8+ a few days ago. My only gripe is the Bixby button. I keep accidentally triggering it from simple actions such as picking up/handling the phone, pressing the power button, or adjusting the volume.

bxActions fixed it for me. I chose to remap it to the Back action. Everything's good now, I guess until Samsung releases an update.
