Thanks for the vote of confidence. Ferrari rose gold is definitely a male color. Ferrari = masculinity. No secon tot about it.
A feminine color on a masculine body is definitely a good combo, hence some bars i've been too even had their bouncers wear pink hehe... i guess for the iphone, a rose gold back and a black face plate would be more appealing instead of the white face plate. That's why that ferrari has black trimmings and pure black rims to accentuate the rose gold color
am getting it. am secure enough with my masculinity to rock a girly color. anyway am sure it won't last long with me as my wife might want to swap her gold iPhone 6 for it.
Actually, I wear a suit and tie to work everyday. I have a soft pink shirt and the color is emphasized with a pink and gray silk tie. I think I can be seen as professional at all times.
mmm......orange is the new black or pink is the new black. I wish people would just call black, black. Orange, orange and pink....just plain pink. There shouldn't be any confusion or mind-trickery or mind-conditioning. Where I grew up, pink is just pink and pink is traditionally associated with girls. Period. Guys who love pink, I have no problem with that at all. It seems anything goes these days. Apple says that the Rose Gold or pink (I wish Apple would just call it pink) is sold out (at least from the reports I've read). I wouldn't be surprised if 9 out of 10 of those buyers are members of the fairer sex. So, if you buy the pink phone, does it mean anything? Not really. So, go ahead and BUY and see what your drinking buddies think about your pink iPhone. I'm genuinely curious. Would I buy a pink headphone? Over my dead body.
Looks like it's really making an effect! First Click: The rose gold iPhone is causing a global crisis in masculinity
I'm so happy and gay with the new pink iPhone 6S and 6S+. Oops! I should not call it pink but rose gold. 10MM and counting we-men in 12 countries, I'm in great company to have pre-ordered the latest and what looks like a blush pink iPhone. Oops! I said it again.
You guys are way too conscious on what people think , too gay, too feminine too this too that, yet you want it so people will know what you have.... What irony.
Sorry can't help but think of this ;-) Ok I'm out. Just making this light hearted before it escalates ;-)
The apple rose gold is not rose gold. It's metallic pink. (At least from the photos I've seen). That is not the same rose gold you see in fountain pens.
I like the "coral pink" Huawei Mate S that just came out. It has Force Touch display similar to the IPhone 6S+. Goodbye Apple. Read more at: http://www.phonearena.com/news/Poll...vation-or-copycat_id73726#wXcR3VTsrA5v2uAq.99
Passed by the Apple Store today and saw the new Apple Watches on display and since they are using the same aluminum as in the iPhone 6s, I think the Rose Gold color on the watch would be the similar. It really looks more like a peach color than pink but the lighting in the store can be deceptive. It's a nice hue though and if they keep it this way for the 6s then it wouldn't be too feminine.
I am following someone on Twitter who's a former developer turned writer. He's a manly man man but pre-ordered rose gold 6s.
THIS!!!!! Oh, I would've gotten this instead! (and a black and yellow gold iPhone a la Apple Watch would look good too!) Leo
Here's a better look at the new rose gold color option for the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. In addition to silver, gold and space gray bodies, now you have an option called rose gold. The dictionary defines option as the power or right of choosing. Choosing the rose gold iPhone is not about the person. It is about going with the trend -- what is currently popular with consumers. That said, I hope I really like what I ended up choosing. The Semiotics of “Rose Gold” http://www.newyorker.com/culture/cultural-comment/the-semiotics-of-rose-gold
Errr yeah... Hope Apple makes us customize our own phone till the last button. Black front, gold back, rose gold buttons for me hehehe
