Yes, the update was released in quite some time now. Any concern on 10.9.1? For me it does not yet resolve the Finder bug.

For those who didn't use the clean install method. Mavericks are having so much issues with cache and writing to disks. May it be internal or external.

what I did to solve my missing icons issues and apps not launching was to use ONYX and cleaned everything. I advise you to backup your data first. Just to be sure.

cleaning everything and fixing disk permissions made my dock reappear and made mavericks much more responsive.

Change your DNS address to google's dns. the App store is very picky on ISP's.

I cleaned everything before I backed up using another software. Using Mavericks now. So far, no major problems, except for a few upgrades that are surprisingly not prompted by Apple. You need to find out yourself.

One such case was for iPhoto. The error said something like I can't use the iPhoto app with this OS...your version is... So I had to go to App Store and upgrade (for free). But I'm surprised that it doesn't do a software sweep considering I have chosen auto update.

    Thanks for the reminder.

Did you mean by "isn't working" is that you cant use it at all? Mavericks cant recognize it?

Im planning to upgrade to mav but i need my avid fastrack to work.

The Fastrack is visible in the set up sound options but no sound is coming out of it when selected. but i think this is only true for dual core imacs. I upgraded my fastrack device driver and user interface from the avid support site and the driver update indicated os 10.9.1 but no sound came out of it yet. you may want to check out this forum ...http://community.avid.com/forums/t/124237.aspx
