I just wished they'd match the aesthetics of OS X and iOS.. :D But then again, I think I prefer the icons on OS X.. :D The under the hood performance upgrades are great though! Reminds me of Snow Leopard. "Mavericks" doesn't sound good though, IMO. Why didn't they us Palo Alto? Haha.

os x 10.7 lion cost $29.99 while os x 10.8 mountain lion cost $19.99 and i guess os x 10.9 mavericks will be $19.99. you can only purchase online thru mac app store, all you need are, at least you're at os x 10.7 lion, apple id, credit card, internet connection and two cups of coffee (for waiting to complete the download) :)

aahh my 2008 iMac makes the cut :) as someone with dual monitor set-up, i can't wait for 'multiple displays'. 'tags' is also a welcome feature.

The under the hood improvement looks good. I like it. Will do a clean install since I made such a clutter on my aging MacBook Pro.

it depends on your internet connection, more or less 4gb is the file size, for a 1 mbps internet speed it takes 6 to 7 hours to complete the download. i suggest to start downloading on the wee hours.
