The OS X 10.11.4 update is available to all OS X El Capitan users and can be downloaded through the Software Update in the Mac App Store.
for those wanting to download the combo update for multiple osx updating... https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1869?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
hope the damn external usb HD ejecting itself without activities got fixed this time, I have to keep a torrent upload just to keep the HD attached
Odd that it would take 7 hours to DL the update via the Mac App Store but only 1.2 hours through the Apple Download page...i also get cut a number of times already while DLing since last night thru the App Store... Almost blew a lid today...grrr!
Please update us if this USB issue finally gets fixed. This is the main reason why I have yet to install El Cap. Thanks!
been using 10.11.4 for the past couple of days now doing lots of work... no problem encountered so far. It doesn't make your system faster but doesn't slow it either. We're good to go. I guess this is just the mandatory 4th update (at least) before the next major release.
I have successfully updated. My gadgets are synced and my locked note could be seen by both my iPad 4 and iPhone 6S, I am wondering why it is not visible in my MBA.
Finally bit the captain's bullet. I have 10.10.5, I decided to wipe my MBA and installed 10.11.4. Had a minor issue with the initial setup after the installation process where I enter my iCloud account. The two-factor authentication does not work. Had to skip that part and had to manually set it up later. Weird thing is that I have MBA mid-2011 and it does not officially supports Continuity. But it actually works with all my iOS devices even without using any activator like CAT. So far so good. All of my apps from Yosemite already installed and working.
My Western Digital drives connected to an HDD dock randomly disconnects. Thought it was fixed with 10.11.3 but seems Apple decided to bring it back. Very annoying.
Oh dear. It's a big issue but it seems like they can't seem to fully fix it yet. Looks like I'm holding off updating again until the next update.
