Yeah, that’s what I meant, that the Cavs got to keep that pick, while getting the 4 new players.

If fortune favors the Cavs, they could win both the championship and the draft. The Lakers did that rare feat in 1982, beating Philly in the finals and then selecting James Worthy at no. 1.

Lavar Ball strikes me as a sort of Black Mirror character; a dark twist on the NBA's socially constructed world

    looking at the scores today...

    West looks normal.

East, I think Detroit can say goodbye to the season...

If that happens they will also win free agency by keeping LeBron in The Land.

The odds of Cleveland winning this year’s championship is probably low or close to nil unless injuries to other teams will hand team the ring. Even if one of the big 4 of GSW goes down, Houston or OKC will still be favored in a 7 game series over the Cavs.

Sure the Cavs are looking good and will probably represent the East but Cavs doesn’t have a Kyrie or DWade in his semi-prime to help tow LeBron over the hump.

Team LeBron wins the 2018 NBA All-Star Game, 148-145.

They won by playing DEFENSE on the last play.

Some scary defense, with LeBron and Durant swarming Curry, forcing him to pass to DeRozan who was not able to shoot it over Durant in time. This draft idea might be a good start in changing our view of the All Star game. But I read an ESPN article discussing another way to improve the ASG -- by playing 3-on-3 halfcourt games with 8 teams, 3 rounds (eliminations, semis and finals). That might be a nice idea. Not sure how the players or the league will be receptive to that though...

Bron and KD trapping you on the sideline = nightmare

So from what I’m reading on the interweb RE: ASG ‘18

WINNERS: NBA, fans, Pharrell and co (for their cool halftime show), KD + Russ reunion
LOSERS: Fergie (for her rendition of Star Spangled Banner), Kevin Hart (for his unfunny player intros)
