    The game today just shows how the Warriors can dominate if they want to. They were down by 24 in the third quarter, and they were up by 10 by the end of that same quarter. That was just amazing.

    What more if they run Curry-Durant pick-and-roll.

    GSW collapsed to Cs.. and their 3rd Quarter comeback vs Sixers.. shows how Warriors are looking bored of their regular season obligations :whistle: .. Read that they are probably duplicating LBJ template of just cruising and just switch it ON when Playoffs arrives...

    NBA ca. 2017-2018:

    Regular season = the new preseason
    Playoffs = the new regular season
    Finals = the new playoffs

    I guess NBA teams and players have to think of it in that way. We have to remember that the current playoff format (with16 teams advancing for 4 rounds of best-of-7 games each preceding the Finals) was instituted only in 1984. In Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Russell's time, some of the early rounds (which varied from 2 to 3 rounds) were three or five game series only. In the early years of the NBA, it was just one knockout round before the Finals! So to compare the modern NBA to the past would be foolish. Treating the regular season today as just a tune-up the the Playoffs and Finals is just good logical planning. Especially with injuries playing a huge part in the playoffs nowadays. Just my two cents...

    In other NBA news, Orlando has decided to ditch their annual Summer League, so there will only be the Las Vegas summer league to host all the teams starting next offseason. Unless a new team decides to host their own again...

    With the current playoff system, it may be better to reduce the number of regular season games by the equivalent maximum of playoff games a team would have to play to reach the semi-finals. This prevents teams from "resting" their star players too often. Owners probably won't accept it as it reduces their income from the reduced games.

    Haha! His "shoutout to Jalen Rose" retort was meant to tweak Rose (who had earlier called him unprofessional for saying he was at 69%). Rose was the primary defender on Kobe Bryant when he went off for 81 points (hence the 81%). LOL!

    Marvin Bagley, barring any injuries, will be easily a top 5 player before the turn of this decade. He is just amazing. You have to watch this kid play, just a man among boys.

    How about DWade for 6MOY?
    The +/- of the second unit, which Wade leads, is higher than that of the starters.

    Seems like Cleveland is showing their potential right now, sans IT, Shump, and DRose. They will be scary in a few more weeks.

    I always believed that adding IT, DRose and Wade will push deeper Korver at the bench... which was a mistake. I'd rather see him on the court than JR Smith or Shrumpert.

    I don't know what will happen once IT starts playing and DRose returns to the Cavs.

    Oh, please keep Korver on the court. That will open up the defense rather than DRose or JR replacing him.

    The Cavs' 13-game winning streak has ended.
