Better to ignore the dad. He's just begging for attention and making his family the Kardashians of basketball.

Instead of routing for the kids to succeed in the NBA, a small part of me wishes otherwise just to shut the old man up.

Lavar is trying to twist and increase the value of his son. It's up to everyone if they will believe or not. At the end of the day, the kid is pretty good. I'm betting on he will definitely be the #1 pick.

And if he goes #1, I hope it's Phoenix or Brooklyn

If the Bruins have a deep run in the NCAA his position for top draft pick will be assured. It's now up to the Lakers to jostle for the rights to that pick.

Ball reminds me a bit of Jason Kidd on how he passes the ball. The Lakers should trade Randle and Russell for him.

Will not trade randle but we need to release russel. He won't ever be a star pointguard. He is just too slow...

Lakers should have chosen Okafor! He can be a backup center and if footwork is developed, he can be a threat in a few years time. There are a lot of better PG and SG in the league who can come off the bench and better than russel. If he will not improve his shooting consistency and athletic abilities in the offseason, he would join the Bunch of draft goofed up!

So there was another incident between the Warriors and Wizards, with Javale McGee trying a three pointer before the shot clock expired, but still with 6 seconds ago. Jennings shoved him for even attempting the three, and that he should've just taken the shot clock violation. He claims that he is old school. I think this is also seen in other sports, like flipping the bat, showboating on the opposing teams logo at the 50 yard line, etc.

So where exactly do we draw the line? I've seen high school games that end up 120-15, should we have stopped the game at halftime, knowing that there was no chance in hell that the other team could match up?

The Wizards claimed that the Warriors were up by double digits, and were miffed that Curry was still playing in the 4th quarter. They were also angered by Draymon Green's 3, to give him a triple double. Seriously, there are 48 minutes to a game. If they've given up with 5 minutes to go, then they should've just called the game. But in this case, Curry and Green playing wasn't that bad. McGee trying to avoid the shot clock violation, okay that's fifty fifty. No shot clock, time ticking, then you attempt a windmill, up by 20? Okay, that's terrible. Just curious what others think.

(We all keep hearing "I'm old school, I'm old school, back in my time, we wouldn't have done that...")

It wasn't a windmill dunk... and the lead was just 10, not 20. But was this disrespectful?

Others would think it'd be wise to rest the starting lineup during blowouts to prevent possible injuries. But there are times when teams would keep their key players (not necessarily the starters) on the court for some finetuning. Usually, they'd rest their starters, but sometimes they'd want to carry that momentum to the next game too.

Personally, I think players should play on and not play dead, just because the other team is outclassed.

In the end, the coaches' decision shouldn't be questioned by the opposing team.
If the winning team's coach wants to use the garbage time to practice plays; or give the role players some playing time; or allow his players to stat pad... opponents should just shut up and accept defeat... blow out or no blowout.

    And, oh yeah...
A young Michael Jordan did apologize to his coach for that last second play.

As per Klay Thompson, it is intended and they don't like to have turnover.

I've seen T-Mac score 13 points in 33 seconds so why let up? I don't get the logic of sitting the starters at this stage. We're in playoffs mode already - no chances were taken. The Wizards were outclassed and outmatched and they were pissed because they were? I honestly don't get where they were coming from. Also remember that at the start of the season, the Dubs were struggling a bit to close out in the 4th where huge leads had a tendency to evaporate. They could be practicing being ice cold and close out the games strong as this is needed in the playoffs.

As for McGee's shot attempt, as a player, you are almost programmed to take a shot before the shot clock expires. Some might exercise judgement and choose not to shoot at this point but I don't think we should criticize players if the decide to take the shot.

Okay, at least some people are with me on this. I'll play my players if I feel like playing them, be it a 1 point lead, a 20 point lead, sige, if it's a 30+ lead, I'd let them rest. I also don't like turnovers, so let him have that shot. I'd draw the line with showboating or doing some weird thing that's a direct insult. But a shot to avoid the shot clock violation? Oh well.

What I would most like to know, since it was Javale McGee, is what did Shaq have to say :) :) ;)
