In case you own/plan to own the really thin 2015 MacBook but miss the MagSafe feature, which was not included (along with a good chunk of ports), Griffin has come up with a solution of their own:

Costing $40, the BreakSafe Magnetic USB-C Power Cable "is a small, magnetic adapter that plugs into the USB-C port on your new MacBook. It connects magnetically to an included 6-foot charging cable that will safely disconnect from the dongle if someone trips or pulls it, leaving your new computer safe."

It goes on sale this coming April. If you're worried about someone tripping over your charging cable and dragging your MacBook according to the laws of gravity, you can consider investing $40.

Will try this one! :) My macbook nearly fell last week when my cousin tripped over the cable. It was on the edge of my table and I was like.. And said nothing.

Makes you wonder why Apple took it out in the first place? Is it not possible to incorporate it into the design?

^makes me thinking that Apple has something to offer with using that usb-c port with coming iterations of iDevices...other than that, i think it was dumb for them in the first place to change it...well, unless.........

Snapnator seems like a much better product. It's already available here in China and sells for ¥269 (about ₽ 1,900). By far it has received far better reviews than Breaksafe. Available in 4 colors: silver, space grey, gold and rose gold). I haven't personally tried it, but do plan to buy one.

[Note: I'm not connected in anyway with the company behind Snapnator and neither do I stand to benefit directly on indirectly from recommending the product.]
