Hi! I'll be getting my MBA soon and I am foreseeing that we will use it for presentations in grad school, which means I need to connect it to a projector. From my research, I've ascertained that the Mini DisplayPort to VGA Adaptor is the connector I need to make things work out. I just wanted to ask if there are fellow users out there who have the same item, and if you've experienced any issues with connecting to a projector. I'm scared to plop down money for an item which turns out to be incompatible with the tech here.
get the original mini display port to vga adapter and you should have no issues with it. if you however buy a third party adapter, best to have your MBA on hand so you can actually test it first. i myself am using a third party adapter and have no problems with it so far. hope this helps.
i use the CDRKING Mini Display Port to VGA connector for about 3years now... no issues or problems... only Php480pesos
hi! you can never go wrong with the legit mini display port to vga adapter from apple. it may be a little more expensive than the generic ones but it will never let you down. i've had mine since 2009 and never did it fail.
I got mine from Charlie, it had warranty. I had an issue on my first buy and they exchange it after testing that it really had a defect. After that, no more problems. Just be sure that you won't bend it too much in your laptop bag.
