    So where can I buy a decent case which protects decently and with a decent price? 2k is my base budget.

    Beyond the Box and PowerMac Center still sell cases for your 13 inch MBP L. Check them out.

    do add Digital Walker to your list of go to places. some of their branches may still carry cases for your MBPr.

    Thanks guys! I got the UAG Black case from Digital Walker Century Mall. It's pretty sleak! Its just sooooooo priceyyyy! :) php 3400
