I'm in Japan now for a business trip. I want to buy this monitor but I don't know how to transport this home. Based on my estimate about its dimensions, I might be able to carry it (in the box) as a carry-on luggage. But has anyone done that? Will I have a problem with the airline? (I'm flying PAL)

    Any input is appreciated :).

    Thank you.

I think you can. I've seen people bringing flat screen tvs as part of their carry on luggage. You can do the same too. Make sure you have a "FRAGILE" sticker and "HANDLE WITH CARE".

The screen size is only 21.5", the same as the smaller iMac 21.5" 4K model. So, it's not very large to ship as accompanied baggage in its original protective carton. Sunil's suggestion to apply FRAGILE and HANDLE WITH CARE stickers should be followed.

Thank you for your suggestions :).

Sunil you suggest I bring it as carry-on, and just put "fragile" and "handle with care" stickers?

Chito your suggestion is to ship it from Japan? Just clarifying :).

    Thank you again.

Weird that it's less expensive at Apple's website than LG US's own website (524 vs 699).
