Is there really a proper way to close apps?

    I'm assuming one or more of your apps is buggy. if the flicking is not enough, you can do a reset. just turn off iPHone & power it up again. sometimes bugs are corrected with this.. if not, it could be that your app (or iOS) needs updating.
