Yup, gave a 1st gen nano in just last week at Dhub Vmall.
I would suggest Technoholic Congressional.
^^ Thanks! Nadala ko na sa Technoholic Congressional kanina lng. At excited na rin ako
Great! Steer clear of PMC.
Just read about this by chance since I was looking for a replacement battery for my iPod Nano. Well what do you know, my Nano will live for another 7 years!
Is this still on-going?
Hi guys, I just tried to search online my ipod nano 1st generation serial #. And I just found out that Apple has a Replacement Program for it due to battery issues? I was just thinking if the replacement program is still on going? Hehe, thanks guys. By the way, i'm new here in philmug.
Yes it is still on the front page of the Apple support site so it is still an active program. Welcome to PhilMUG!
Wow, thanks empty for the reply and thanks for welcoming me here in philmug! I'll call Power Mac Center here in Batangas to inquire for the Replacement Program for iPod nano.
Hi guys, got my wife's new iPod nano 6th gen from power Mac center-festival mall. Went there last 21st for the replacement program, got it just today (29th). Quite a fast action from PMC-festival. Thanks to Philmug too for this forum.

^Backread. You'll find a lot of suggestions
Hello po! i just wanted to know kung on-going pa rin po itong program?
i wasn't informed. *~~~*
Yes, this program is still on-going. You can visit our BF Parañaque or QC branch to have your 1st gen iPod nano replaced
sir is diz available pa? mron kc akong ipod nano 1st gen 4gb pro hnd n xa ng oopen ska wla n xang box nung binili ko tgal n kc nto.
Please, no text speak here. You don't need the box and based on the posts here, it is accepted even if the unit is broken.
I've just started using my wife's little white 2gig nano again for my runs. While it would be nice to have a shiny newer nano, we like the first gen unit. Ours still has the original plastic on the front, we just kept it there when we put the nano into an agent18 crystal case years back.
Instead of a unit replacement, is it possible to opt for a battery replacement instead?
i don't think Apple make battery replacements. They probably don't have spare batteries at all.
We also had a couple of 1st gen nanos. Hardly any scratches on them. We loved our 1st gen, especially the clear plastic at front. If it was a 2 - 3 gen diff.. We would not have it replaced. But it is too big a jump, technology wise.
so it pde pa xa? tnong ko lng kht d n xa ng oopen kc due to excessive heating nia nacra.
