Hmmm, my personal thoughts on the iPhone SE...

If you presently have a company phone but would want to keep your personal number that is due for a recontract... Get it...

I honestly can't move on from the fact that it does not have 3D Touch and a has a 1.2MP (f2.4 front facing camera)

Looks like Apple is trying to get rid of unsold inventory.

I like a "small" phone, like my current 4s. The 6 is bulky in my pocket. If and when my 4s dies or gets crippled by a new iOS, SE here I come.

The iPhone SE is like the "muscle car" of the iPhone line. They fitted the "V8 engine" of the bigger 6S into a smaller body of the SE.

IMHO this is a 'COMPANION' phone for Android users, to capture market owned by Android users, no one wants to carry a big screen Android and a Big iPhone 6P, but with a small iPhone SE with small screen and size as a 2nd phone, many might bite.
what I concern about it is the battery life, with its powerful CPU and power hungry specs, without a good battery that they can squeeze into the body of an iPhone 5, it’s a junk. lets see whats the battery capacity, an 'improved' battery life than 5s is simply not enough

Well come to think of it people, moving back to 4 inch means easier access to the "back" navigation control that started to become stressful to some users when bigger iteration of the iPhone was released.

It was never fixed in the iOS versions and people just started to live with it, some companies even started to offer a "fix" for it (hardware) where you buy an apparatus that will give your iPhone an "android-like" physical button beside the home button to give an easy access to the "back" navigation control.

The iPhone SE will do justice to what Steve Jobs said that iPhone should be easy to use even with one hand, and the software should go with it.

Well according to GSM Arena, the iPhone SE will ship with a Non-removable Li-Po 1642 mAh battery.

iPhone SE should be name iPhone MEH. Sorry for the hate but I guess Apple has ran out of names for their "new" phone

The way I look at it, it's more like an iPhone 5s on steroids with SE standing for "Steroids Edition".

This is a game changer for young teens who can't afford the 6s but are very gifted on making home videos. Now with 4k, these kids can produce those cooking videos like the ones shown in FB taste made, tasty and the likes.

It can also beat the DJI. Any resourceful kid can just buy those custom quadcopter + gimbal and mount the SE viola 4k aerial shots. a Phantom 4k costs 60K++ from Henry's.

I checked Apple, this will be priced $399 for the 16GB, and $499 for the 64GB or P17K++ and P22K++ respectively. no contract.

mmm.....iPhone SE is just another option to those on iOS. I can see this as a positive development for Apple. Cheaper, yes but no less capable than the TOTL iPhone, for mainstream usage. As a secondary phone, ABSOLUTELY yes. As an emerging market iPhone, ABSOLUTELY yes. Although I am not a fan of smaller phones, it is good to know that there is always an alternative to the phablets. Kudos to Tim Cook....
