I also experienced that stuttering on my 6plus. I turned off Siri suggestions and haven't had a stutter in over a week now. Give it a shot.

Thanks! Yes, people seem to suggest that along with reducing motion and transparency to smoothen it out. Turning off Siri Suggestions is all right with me since it's currently useless unless you're residing in any of these countries and thus, it makes absolutely no difference turning it off at this point.

I'm looking forward to the day they release an update with more polish (after the major bugs are all sorted out, of course,) to the point that we don't need to make any sort of compromise — things like reducing motion/transparency — just to make the software perform as it should.

BTW just to give an idea how the lag looks like, because I notice some iPhone 6 owners tell me their phone is not lagging at all but upon checking they also have the same issue, I don't know how can they tolerate this kind of bs.

After updating to 9.2, all my calls were choppy. A restart of the phone somehow fixed it.

Guys, i've been dealing with this problem for quite a number of days now. My iMessage just shuts off randomly all throughout the day. SOmetimes, it can be fixed by rebooting the phone (hard reboot or normal restart) and sometimes I fix it by just turning the iMessage slider from OFF to ON.

But my question is "why does this keep on happening?"
Is anybody else dealing with this issue right now? What are the long-term solutions to this?

    Thanks!

Since I updated to IOS9 and 9.1 my Word for iPad seems to be crashing more often. I hope this is solved soon.

The lag still persist in iOS 9.2 official. iPhone 6 user here. iOs 8 was way better. Next time I upgrade to a new version of iPhone I'll just stick to its original IOS. Annoying apple.

    P.S.
I also observed that even the 6s lags

Try the "reduce transparency" from accessibility settings as a workaround. This should make animations smoother.

No offense but I didn't buy a phone worth 42k just to reduce some of its specs in order to compensate with the faulty iOS 9

I am on 9.2 on my 6 Plus. I have a 2 x 5S as well, all on 9.2. It has not lagged or stuttered ever since I turned off Siri suggestions.

One other thing you might want to try is to do a hard reset after installation of any updates. That will flush out any old system files hanging around that may cause some headache.

Non taken :) i feel for you as well.

iOS 9.2 is still buggy but better than 9.1. I dont understand why apple released the 9.2 beta 4 version as the final version without fixing the outstandanding issues and skipped a GM release.

The most we can do is find work around to enjoy the phone until apple squashes every single bug. I too would not buy a 50k phone only to find out that there is a light bleed issue and a buggy OS. But it is what it is, hence lets enjoy the device.

Hopefully apple fixes them the soonest. Cheers.

Good day. I have a iPhone 5, I updated it with the new ios and I encountered some major problems, I hope somebody can help me. 1. I always experience screen black out ( at first you can talk with siri when you hold the home button but now its just plain black), I have to wait for the battery to be emptied before I can turn it on again. Thanks
