What version of MS Office you're trying to install?

What version of MS Office are you using? (year and suite type -- student, home, business)

Also, are you installing it on OS X or via Boot Camp or Parallels/Fusion?

Is this a digital copy or are you using a disc installer (via SuperDrive, since you're using a MacBook Air)?

Where did you get your "digital copy installer"? You mentioned installing "for free" but the only way to use it is to get a paid version thru a DVD installer (available in Apple resellers), or download one from Microsoft if you have an Office 365 subscription.
