My brother just got an imac as a gift and he is wondering how much he can sell it because he wants to get a MBP 15" here are the gen specs..btw it hasn't been opened yet still in the box

    Specs:

    iMac 21.5" 3.06GHZ intel core i3
    4GB RAM
    500GB HDD
    Magic mouse and wireless keyboard

basically the lowest model of the new line

i asked around a few stores and if you buy it cash or straight cash they can sell it for 60K..
so is it fair to sell it for 55K..many thanks

The last time I checked there are many resellers offering the base i3 iMac for 55K. One such seller is this fellow:

so I guess I agree with Tabsweet, 55K should be a reasonable offer. :)
