When replying to the thread, please state the type of watch you have so we can compare how long they last compared to other users.

I have a 42mm Watch and I'm currently on the OS2 Beta 3 and I am very happy to say that on days without using the Heart Rate Sensor too much (no workout days), the longest it's gone is a good 29.5 hours; I did cheat a little bit by putting the Watch on airplane mode whilst I was in bed so when I woke up it only used about 11% battery - not bad for 8 hours! I can't wait to see if having native apps (OS 2 feature) will prolong the battery life due to lessening use of Bluetooth connection.

For a realistic comparison, when I had my Watch on OS 1, it was lasting for about 26 hours anyway.

    How long does yours last?

    Model: SS 42mm
    OS Version: OS1
Battery Life: While I always charge the watch before going to sleep. I get 12hrs of usage and I still have 50% remaining, so that might account to 24-25hrs of battery life. Used all the watch's features and never turned airplane mode etc.

I charge it every night regardless of how much charge is left. But usually, before I sleep at around 11 pm, there is still 30% charge remaining.

My watch is 38MM stainless steel.

First workday with the  Watch...

Unplugged from the charger and wore it since 7:30am. Used Siri a couple of times in the car (so I don't have to pull out my phone). Notifications were mostly SMS/iMessage, Stand goal and Activity summaries (set to appear every 6 hours), and a couple of emails. Since the watch is still new to me, I kept looking at it just to tell the time and do some random stuff like checking all glances (I've kept all the default ones, just rearranged them). Did a short run this evening to add to my workout goal; not sure if setting Workout's power saving mode affected the run since I didn't explicitly put it on the Workout app, it just counted towards the Workout goal.

I've plugged in the watch since around 11:35pm, and it had 40% remaining. Given the same usage it had throughout the day, it should be good enough for another 10 hours, past the 24-hour mark. That's about on par with the LG G Watch I had before, pre-software update. By the way, other than the settings I've mentioned above, everything else is turned on.

My day usually starts around 6 AM, by midnight my apple watch's battery would be less than 5% so 18 hrs for me.

Regardless of the complaints (if any?) on how the battery life should be longer, I'm already very happy that the AW's battery lasts more than a day. My Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 a few years back had a really terrible battery life (at least for me) which really required my to charge every night. While it may not be as mind-blowing all-week battery like the Pebble, the Watch's battery life is already a huge plus for me considering there's the gorgeous display and all the other features present that you can't really match from other smartwatches
