So i have been digging around and poking around my apple idsssssss (so many emails) and accounts try to simplify my accounts as much as possible...

problem here ive been apple user since the .mac and mobileme days... hence lots of accounts to manage... (GULO!!!)

the reason why is i want to use the family sharing feature... here's my situation:

iTunes Store Purchases (apps, music all in US store which has more content, my iTunes Matach too!!!)
    - tied to my gmail email
    - sharing the password with several family members so we share app contents etc etc

Personal Stuffs (email, contacts, photos etc etc)
    - using my NEW icloud account (discarded old one which is associated to mac.com me.com)
    - icloud is set to PH local

so ive discovered that family sharing is only applicable to icloud email address not the itunes store account which is link to my gmail.... (arghhh hassle...)

what i did i tried to change my gmail account to my personal icloud account and set up family sharing, of course, apple doesn't allow you to do that... only way to change is using an unused apple id, in which all icloud is automatically registered apple id :( so frustrating...

anybody got a work around for this? or should i just maintain my current situation using two email ids to manage my contents and personal stuffs...

    HELP!!!!

as per family sharing, it is tied to a particular itunes store. so it will be impossible for you create a family share with both your accounts since one is US and the other PH.

maybe i was just lucky that when they introduced family sharing i was able to tie up both my us and ph store ids in one family share...

For you guys who use multiple macs and multiple iTunes accounts (US, phil). Which do you use to register your macs? which do you use often, ph or US account?

    ***Family Sharing Question***
(didn't want to create a new thread)

I have my family sharing set-up (did it for our Apple Music)

If I buy a movie from iTunes using my account, will the movie show up on my wife and daughter's library too?

The 4K option is for streaming. Movie downloads max out at 1080p.

But I think if you purchased a movie in HD, you don’t need to repurchase it as 4K.

From Apple Support Article: Find and watch movies with 4K, HDR, or Dolby Vision
