help i book g3

    Hi i need help.. i got a g3 it was on 10.3.9 tried installing 10.4.10 the laptop froze.. now its on 9.2 suddenly and the language has changed to chinese.. can anybody help me with this pls?

    Your ibook probably was set up with both OS9 and OSX but the defaut boot OS was OSX. If the attempted install corrupted the OSX installation your mac may be booting to OS9.

    Try pressing "option" while starting up. If you see on OSX boot partition select that to boot into Panther.

    If its not there and there are no files you need to recover then just do a clean install of Tiger, you can delete the OS9 partion as you configure the install.

    what's the processor speed and ram capacity of your ibook g3? is this the clamshell model?
