I'm also on the old "unli" supersurf plan, didnt get capped the first 7mos since throttling was introduced but globe seems to be more active in capping now, what is your suggestion guys, what's the best truly unlimited option if i'll stick with globe? Thanks in advvance
Do you get accurate readings? Currently on globe's data usage tracker my usage is 3.8Gb, however on Dataman my usage is already at 4.6GB
Based on my last two Globe bills, Dataman, and other data tracker apps are more accurate than usage per Globe account website.
is the anti-bill shock pretty accurate bro? i mean its sure they don't overcharge you above 1.5k? thanks in advance
Bro the 1.5k is on top of the 999 used to avail of the gosurf? Talked to a CS and they told me it is 1.5k on top of my current plan? Is ot really like that bro? I thought it was just p500 since p999 was used to avail of the gosurf... Thanks in advance
Just to be sure of the computations, is it basically like: 499 lifestyle plan base+go surf 99=598/mo. or... 499+go surf 999 = 1498/mo. with maxed ABS, it's 499+(1500-99)= 1900/mo. So we can still have "unlimited" data at 1900/mo.?
^should be in theory, but for some reason, i've talked to around six customer service agents now, and it's 3-3, three said yes i'll just pay the additional p500 since ABS is 1.5k and 999 goes to go surf. The other three CS agents said it's the other way around, p999 to avail of gosurf, then additional 1.5k for the ABS... haay, if only globe could get their acts together, or at least give a unified answer to this one. This has been discussed i remember when the new iPhone came for the PH launch back in November, and six months and counting their CS agents still are as clueless... The last agent even told me "best to go to stores na lang sir to sort this out, di din kami sure" LOL globe
to make it short since it's MLP now if you got GS99-999 your monthly bill would be if you exceed your usual GS allocation is 1500+499 = 1999. other wise if you just exceed a little from your GS accocation it's 2 pesos per MB.
I hope our beloved NTC will follow what US-FCC did to AT&T with regards to their "throttling" of their "Unlimited Data" Subscribers. AT&T Fined $100 Million by FCC for Unlimited Data Throttling Practices - Mac Rumors
I didn't receive a text that I am already at my bandwidth cap, only this message: Upon checking the gservices app, this is what I see: I checked dataman, and it seems that I got over the 3gb limit on just the 10th day of the month. This was when I used my phone as a hotspot to download the iOS 9 ipsw. I hope ntc will grow balls and start to do it's job and do something about the appalling state of internet connection that we have.
i just noticed that my daily mobile Facebook browsing at the office already used up 1.2gb. does FB data consumption count towards the data cap even if Globe has an ongoing "Free FB" promo? technically it shouldn't, since they're offering it for free, right?
