Hossein's is still OK. their makati avenue branch closed down though. theyre still in Greenbelt & BGC.

I still patronize the hole in the wall, Shawarma Snack Center & their satellite branch across the street in Salas street.

Another vote for SSC here. Kebab platter (half kilo) whenever I'm in Malate with my friends. Uncle Moe's is my go-to though since there's a branch near where I live. My usual order: Chicken kebab w/ rice, Kofta balls, and below zero Cerveza Negra.

Thank you all for the suggestions! I will surely visit SSC and Hossein's!

You should try Meshwe. Located in food parks though, one in Maginhawa and one in Fairview.

SSC? Is this the one near rob manila and with 2 stores fronting each other? Yung may aquarium sa loob? They serve really good food. Parking could be a problem though. Especially if you want to park near the resto.

Arya is good. They have a branch in Greenhills.

    I find Hossein's too expensive.

Seemin Persian King Kebab in Tomas Morato. Maybe not the best but since it is open 24 hours, it may be the best during wee hours. But seriously, it is good. I've been there with my girlfriend a lot of times when I was still in between jobs. This is Chicken Musakan, grilled chicken in pita bread and some veggies and special oil dressing:

Chilli sauce and garlic mayo on every table. Very cheap pita bread, only P10 if I remember it correctly.

If you're in Makati ave, you can try Hummus Elijah (in front of Berjaya hotel), and Beni's Falafel in A.Venue.
There's also Yo Falafel in Greenbelt 3, third floor, near the cinemas.

Beni's Falafel is pretty good too. Beni is Israeli from what I recall. Their schnitzel in a pita bun is my favorite.

    ..(~_-),,
You can't go wrong with Mister Kebab. They also have a branch in Ortigas (Pearl drive).
They serve the best tasting chelo kebab in town. *drool*
    Best paired with Biryani Rice

+1 for Meshwe. Closest I tasted to what they serve in the middle east.

Any oldtimers here remember when Mr. Kabab was still a hole-in-wall named Persia House back in the 90s? I dunno, but the food was so much better back then. Am still a fan of Mr. Kabab, but some of the dishes seem to have gotten Filipinized.

Persiana in Pioneer St, Mandaluyong though I'm not sure if they already transferred location.
