I like my bacon crisp and toasty. The soggy kind, not a fan of it. I mean, it's bacon, gotta have me some of that, but the limp kind is just not to my liking. Heat always serves the limp kind at breakfast. Though you'd find a crisp and toasty one in the bunch. It's kinda like finding a curly fry in your french fries, hehe. Eureka!
Tried Yakimix Prime last weekend. Disappointing Don't wanna go back there again.... I felt like the food is filled with extenders. :\
a bit OT but if you haven't tried the food club, don't even think about it. their food selection is excellent but the execution and is almost always, off. their carving station serves the most unappetizing roast beef cause its well done, dry and bland. their tempura is bland and their furai is cold. they have unlimited wines but they are not good. their saving grace is the fresh fruit shakes and their salted caramel ice cream.
mmm....their Eton Centris branch is way better than Jupiter (napaglipasan na ng panahon). I'm a fan of Tong Yang and the price is just sulit. The soup stock (chicken or spicy) sucks. So, I bring my own (Lee Kum Kee hot pot paste, dissolved in 6 tall glasses of water, done on the spot of course).
Mm..by the bay...inside fountain....................Spiral ! It was the more special since I talked with one of their senior chefs. I recognized him from Facebook. He is an absolute headfi nut like myself. Instant connection....complete with animated gestures and rapid exchange of all things headfi, language barrier notwithstanding. He whipped out his android and proudly showed me pictures of his headfi gears. I did the same on my iPhone 7. It was like meeting an old friend for the first time.
Medley Buffet in Okada is actually pretty good. A big step up from vikings and buffet 101. We went there again last week but was temporarily closed. We ended up in Red Spice which was a total disappointment. It was casual dining (think Iwata, a dozen or so) with fine dining price points like China Blue.
