Hi fellow muggers, what is the best program you can recommend for SQL Server Alternative with GUI? I can't seem to find what that suite my needs. I want to use Microsoft SQL Server, unfortunately it is only available for Windows and I really don't want to run Windows on my Mac or use any virtualization programs/bootcamp.

I used to work at Oracle so I'd say Oracle. Lol. Seriously it really on depends on what type of applications you intend to develop. There's plenty of RDBMS that can run on a Mac aside from Oracle you have DB2. Should you require a more agile, flexible and scalable application development and customization, I suggest you try NoSQL options such as Cloudant or Mongo DB.

    You could also try MySQL.

The TS is probably asking for an app he can use to connect to Microsoft SQL Server on a Mac...not an alternative RDBMS.

On top of my head use Eclipse IDE with MSSQL plugin?

I suggest MySQL then for your GUI, use Sequel Pro. It is free and works pretty good.
