Hi, I didn't want to start a new thread but I wanted to ask about AppleCare. I know that retail sells AC for MBP 13" at PhP 12,590. I just wanted to know if you guys happen to know any place where I can get it at a lower price. I checked the Apple Store PH online and while they can sell it at PhP 10,090 with educational discount, I'm a bit iffy about not getting it from an actual physical store. Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks! :)

Hi Trina, most Apple resellers here in PHL offer Apple products (I'm guessing those that cost at least P5,000), for a maximum of 6 months at 0%. Try Beyond the Box and PowerMac.

Thanks! I sent an e-mail to BTB and will wait for their reply after the Holy Week break. I'm planning to pay the full amount in cash, so I was hoping that would help me get a discount of some sort. I asked Power Mac Center, they don't have any discounts (cash or educational) and they don't have AppleCare in stock. We'll see what deal I can get with BTB but as of now, I might have to go with the Apple Store's Educational Discount.

You guys got great deals, yay! However, I don't plan on charging the purchase on my card. I plan to pay the full amount in cash. It looks like I might be ordering my Apple Care online so I can avail of the educational pricing though :)

Visited the Powermax expo a while ago and it took me 1 hour to register (for walk-in), another 2 hours to get to the entrance (i started my line in the 2F stairs all the way up to tradehall 3) and 1 hour for the cashier queue. It is all worth it since I got an applecare for my macbook 40% off. Super like

Sorry for the super late reply.
If I'm not mistaken, I still saw 2-3 applecare in their display cabinet when I inquired. I'm just not sure if that's also for MAC or for other apple products.
To add, I also noticed infinite cardholders are considered express passes. Curious now where to get it. :)
