Finally experienced what waterproofing on the AW is...swam for almost 3 hours while on wet mode...no glitches at all...

Almost as if you forgot it was an AW on your wrist and thought it to be a G-Shock...

Maybe it’s still in the watch’s memory? I mean close the FBM in the apple watch from the recent apps then reinstall? Anyway, You’ve probably done that too and I have nothing to suggest :(

It happens to me most of the time and my workaround is instead of completely uninstalling I just read and scribble reply. If it’s too long I just read it on my phone. Let’s hope watch OS 5 or 4.x will give devs more access to the watch OS.

So this is a software issue given it happens to S3 watches

Still no available data plans from local telcos for the LTE version? I was planning on buying one so I could leave my phone sometimes, but it looks like that's not an option.

I just saw BTB's post on discounted Apple products tomorrow. Apple Watch Series 2 is one of them. Now I'm thinking if I should get the series 2 (Php13k) or if I should wait until my upcoming trip to Seattle to get a stainless steel series 3. There's a huge difference in price.

Just curious. So now what would be the difference between the Series 2 and the Series 3 GPS non-LTE? Thanks!

for me the significantly improved battery life and the 70% faster CPU performance would be the major improvements from S2 and S3. but there are already a lot of detailed reviews and comparisons on the internet if you need more details:

Apple Watch 3 LTE will be available in SG and HK on Feb 2. For those looking for the stainless steel version of the AW3... :)

I agree with everything you said except for this "cellular version onky works at the country from where it was purchased". Apple watch 3 LTE is open line. It does indeed require a support from Telco for LTE to work but as long as the supported band is the same from the purchased country vs. the country of use, it should work. I bought a stainless steel apple watch series 3 in Japan and LTE did not work here in the Philippines (as of the moment). But it is expected to work in the future if our carriers will support it as the LTE bands being used by Japan and Philippines are the same. Makes sense? However, I don't mind it though as like you, I was after for the stainless steel casing. It looks more like a watch. More sturdy, less prone to dents and scratches can be fixed with a metal polish. And did I mention about the sapphire glass?
