Hi, Not an app but here are some cool apple watch faces which you might enjoy, I just found them today and I super loved it when I tried it Samples:
It all depends on what you want to use your watch for. A must have app for me may not be a must have for you. Having said that... I'm a huge SF Giants/baseball fan so for me must haves are: MLB At Bat (news, scores, live lookins , video and audio) and Stub hub (buy and access tickets), Twitter and Instagram. Aside from the Workout app I also use Endomondo, use it mainly when I go out hiking. For Quick access to news headlines --CNN app (complication works great) and News360. They may not be the most accurate but I like Dark Sky and Carrot Weather. Sky guide I'd recommend for astronomy buffs, I get a kick out of looking at ISS flybys.
Hi, Has anyone used Uber App on Apple Watch? This one doesn't seem to work on my watch. I've tried solutions googled, like re-installing, but still not working. It is only stuck on the uber loading giff like a blue location marker and that's it. Anyone experienced this? and what is your solution. Thanks!
Thanks for the reply! Its kinda sad that it doesn't work. I'm expecting this app as a convenient app. Just taps in your wrist will order you an uber. I hope they fix this soon.
Sad. It's one of the apps that got me excited to know there's one for apple watch. It's useful pa naman sana if you're in an unfamiliar teritory and you're kinda afraid to bring out your iPhone to get an uber ride.
I totally agree! I emailed uber regarding it. As per them, it is a known issue for some users despite of the troubleshooting made and they're fixing it soon as possible. They just suggested to request for a ride on the phone and afterwards information will be shown on the Apple Watch. Haven't tried it though.
I tried using it a few times early on but found that the location accuracy isn't that good. I typically set my pickups at "Go to Pin" but the location shown based on Location Services is kinda off. So I just use my phone. However, I would have expected that notifications come in through the app, which doesn't really work. The other day, I booked an Uber from my phone and wanted to check its location on my watch while waiting, but when the app started, the screen showed as if I hadn't booked yet.
UPDATE: Seems Uber App on Apple Watch works on my watch now. Probably fixed by the recent updates. watchOS 2.0.1
There's a new app called Facer for the AW and it's great when you like great photos in your AW Face. http://9to5mac.com/2016/03/03/facer-makes-your-apple-watch-come-alive-with-fresh-content/
anyone knows a personal finance app? I'm looking for something where it will allow me to input purchases via the watch?
Spark Mail Outlook* OmniFocus* Uber * with Complications There are also apps that are not worth anything than a notification on your hand. Such apps are: Facebook Messenger Tweetbot Viber and more...
Now trying an app called "Lookout". It was just updated to be compatible with the AW. It can help you find your lost iPhone by alarming you that your phone is almost/already away from your watch. http://techcrunch.com/2016/03/08/lookouts-new-apple-watch-app-will-help-you-find-your-lost-iphone/
I just bought the aw. Are there any new apps aside from those already mentioned here that are worth installing?
