After months of looking for Airpods here and abroad, who would've thought that I would get my pair from Lazada of all places. Arrived in 2 days, same as Apple Store SRP.
guys, is the fit basically the same as the earpods that come with the iphones? or is it a bit larger?
I saw some airpods at Power Mac in Robinsons Magnolia. The lady at the counter said "Kakadating lang niyan kaninang tatlong oras". Just a heads up to those who are looking for units.
I'd say almost the same, but what's weird is that the earpods fall off my ears but the airpods stay on my ears even if i shake them... some say the wires tend to drag them down, hence since it was removed from the airpods, they now stay in place, at least that's the case for me
Anybody tried using them with the Apple TV? How's the experience? I would like to get these for the following use cases: Music and podcasts streamed from phone when commuting Rare occurrences of streaming music from Apple Watch Go-to headset for webex sessions and other PC conferencing Apple TV earphones for middle of the night movie-watching while everyone else are asleep I'm sure #1 and #2 would be easily met. But would like to know if the audio quality would be good (both inbound and outbound) when you do #3. As for #4, would like to know if the connectivity of the headset would be strong enough to stay hooked to a TV that's about 7-10 feet away.
1. Music loudness is 1-2 notch quieter than the bundled earpods so if previously you need to turn the volume 1/3 of the way to hear your music, you might need to turn it up 1/2 of the way up. Music quality is indeed better though. Also experienced cut outs in high traffic places like Airports or Shopping districts that might be attributed to so many interference. 2. I've done this. It will automatically switch to iPhone if the iPhone is near but on the latest WatchOS, you can download multiple playlists to stream exclusively on your watch. I take it for running. UI on the watch needs improvement though as it is laggy and might make you lose your "zone" when running. 3. Sound quality based on voice calls have been positive. They weren't able to distinguish that I was wearing a BT headset. 4. Apple TV experience, on the latest tvOS 11 beta, you are able to swipe down on your Siri remote and select Airpods as one of your audio options. Did just that last night when watching the lastest episode of GoT as some background sounds are much much louder than their dialogues. I was able to refill my water which is all the way across the living room without sound cutting off.
Hi guys! What case/pouch do you use to protect your Airpods white case? Or do you even use any at all?
Don't use one. Had a misfortune of having my original pair chewed up by my dog so I use the old case with the new pair I got. Essentially, I have a back up case. You can try a minimalist approach and just sticker wrap the case if those are still offered in malls.
I've only spent less than a day with the Airpods yet I'm already so impressed... they sound much better than my old Bluetooth ear buds (Nakamichi and Motorola Verveones ME) and the pairing / device (iOS, Android) switching process is way smoother as well.. Just sharing Thank you Apple!
That's so unfortunate! An expensive mishap. So its that fragile huh. Hmm okay. I'm very OC, so I probably can't stand using it without a case. Went ahead and ordered this: https://www.lazada.com.ph/silicone-...2732931.html?spm=a2o4l.search.0.0.5qMhI3&ff=1 Hopefully it'll be nice
If there's an update for the Airpods that's available you just need to put the Airpods in its charging case, and make sure your Apple device that's been paired with the Airpods has internet access and is nearby.
