Hi Potpot! Thats a pretty fast connection. Are you able to watch twitch streams on source quality? I have a Sky broadband connection and medium is the best I can do.

Any recent news on Sky's service? I don't need blazing speed, just reliability. Thinking of signing up for their 8mbs plan.

a no brainer for us as for the same price,we are only getting 15mbps on pldt. Was able to DL Sierra in under 30mins. happy :)

I just signed up to Sky Broadband's 50Mbps plan after a horrendous experience with PLDT DSL.

One issue that I noticed with Sky is the slow Apple App Store downloads. I guess they are throttling it.

Anyone here using a VPN with their Sky connection? Does it improve the download speeds?

Try changing your DNS to either Open DNS or Google's. That worked for me.

Globe Broadband is upgrading their data plans. I have the 7mbps with 70gb data cap + HOOQ + NBA Premium + Spotify on plan 1999. Upgraded mine with 15mbps 150 data cap + HOOQ + Netflix for only 1599. I should've gotten the 50mbps with 300 data cap for only 1899 (which is still cheaper than my previous plan) but not yet available in our place.

I'm already using Google's but I haven't tried OpenDNS yet. I'll give it go. Thanks!

Hi, didn't have to change anything (apart from password on 3rd day). Just connected to existing asus wifi router and we were good. Can't recall but there must be way to change DNS in skycable router.

anyway, i hope you resolve yours soon. sorry not much of help.

Yes, just go on your browser and configure it via your router's Setup dialogue.

Was able to change mine. I think all router configuration would allow you to change DNS and other stuff. What's the model of your router? That's weird.
